MASTER JOSHUA KUAN KAI WEN

(4th DAN Black Belt) (MAS/KOR)

MASTER Joshua Kuan read Law and graduated from the University of West of England, Bristol (UK) with LL.B(Hons) and thereafter completed the Malaysian Bar exam: Certificate of Legal Practice (CLP) before he was admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor of the Malaysian Bar. He also completed his Diploma in International Arbitration (Malaysia).

Master Joshua works as a Lawyer and founded Joshua & Associates in October 2014 specializing in the General Litigation department where he is actively involved in Court duties and many other areas of law. Previously he worked in Malaysian Assurance Alliance (MAA) as an Executive in the Bodily Injury Claims Department (Motor). He is also a part-time Lecturer for the subject Business Law and Corporate Law in Infrastructure University Kuala Lumpur (IUKL) (previously known as KLIUC).

Master Joshua began learning Taekwondo since year 2000. After training for two and a half years, he obtained his 1st Dan Black Belt in 2002 and subsequently 2nd Dan Black Belt in 2003 under Malaysia Taekwondo Association (MTA/WTF). He was then appointed as the President of the Taekwondo Club in his own ex-school SMK Taman Yarl in year 2004. When he was reading his final year Law in Bristol UK, he continued to practise Taekwondo and attended several classes in the University of the West of England (UWE), Bristol under Master Suh Ki Young. In year 2015, Master Joshua was appointed as the Legal Advisor and Secretary General of Taekwondo Kuala Lumpur state.
